CV Writing: Replace Responsibilities With Evidence

A responsibility tells the reader what your job was supposed to include. An achievement shows what you actually contributed. Compare “managed customer enquiries” with “handled daily customer enquiries, created a response tracker and reduced unresolved follow-ups.” The second version gives the reader evidence to discuss.nnUse numbers only when you can defend them. Useful evidence also includes scope, complexity, turnaround time, quality improvements, process changes, stakeholder coordination or problems solved.nnTailor the CV to the role by moving the most relevant evidence upward. Do not stuff keywords that you cannot explain in an interview.
